Blue Dragon Formation in Craters of the Moon National Monument

Blue Dragon Formation, a 2000 year old Basalt Flow in Craters of the Moon National Monument in Arco, Idaho. It’s hard to see in the video, but the basalt has a blue iridescent sheen on its surface giving it its name. The blue color comes from titanium metal. The video features a lava bomb and tree molds. This footage filmed with a GoPro camera.
